Domestic equity markets ended on a firm footing on Tuesday, extending their winning streak to a third straight session, with broad-based buying interest led by financial services and FMCG stocks.
The Nifty 50 surged 211.75 points, or 0.87%, to close at 24,576.60, while the Sensex advanced 753.03 points, or 0.96%, to finish at 79,273.33.
