This latest production boost builds on previous increases of 138,000 bpd in April and 411,000 bpd for the months of May through July. The additional barrels will come from eight OPEC+ members, including Saudi Arabia, Russia, the UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Iraq, Kazakhstan, and Algeria. Together, they have now reversed nearly 1.92 million bpd of the 2.2 million bpd in voluntary cuts imposed last year to stabilise prices.
