MUMBAI TotalEnergies Renewables Indian Ocean sold shares of Adani Green Energy worth ₹2,778.1 crore in a block deal on NSE on Wednesday.
The entity sold 2.86 crore shares at ₹970 apiece, offloading 1.74% of the company’s total equity in the deal.
As of September 30, Totalenergies Renewables Indian Ocean held a 15.6% stake in the company.
Quant Mutual Fund, Authum Investment & Infrastructure, Amity Holdings and BNP Paribas Financial Markets were among the buyers in the deal.
Shares of Adani Green Energy fell 1.1% to close at ₹987.50.
