These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Sarvottam Finvest(14.55%), Themis Medicare(14.42%), Valson Ind(14.07%), Calcom Vision(13.81%), Peeti Sec(13.75%), S H Kelkar & Co.(13.51%), NDTV(13.30%), Kirloskar Ind(12.67%), Ravi Kumar Dist(12.53%) and Alembic Pharma(12.53%).
The 30-share Sensex ended 271.17 points down at 82059.42, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 74.35 points down at 24945.45.
In the Nifty 50 index, 19 stocks ended in the green, while 31 stocks closed in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as ASM Tech, Kamadgiri Fash, Suven Life Sci, Stampede Cap(DVR)and Kanpur Plastip hit their fresh 52-week high, while Sagar Prod, Techindia Nirman, Gangotri Text, Unistar Multi and Bisil Plast touched their new 52-week low in today’s trade.
