The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 769.09 points up at 81721.08, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 243.46 points up at 24853.15.
In the Nifty50 index, 48 stocks closed in the green, while 2 stocks ended in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as Khaitan(India), National Fittings, Dynamic Ind, Centum Elec and Paramone Concepts hit their fresh 52-week high, while Variman Global Enter, California Soft(PP), Sybly Ind, Sunshine Capital and Samrat Forgings touched their new 52-week low in today’s trade.
