NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Mardia Samyoung(up 19.96%), Bajaj Consumer Care(up 15.37%) and PBA Infra(up 15.18%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.
The 30-share index, BSE was trading 812.12 points up at 82708.91, while the 50-share index, NSE was 244.4 points up at 25216.3.
In the Nifty50 index, 45 stocks traded in the green, while 5 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Mardia Samyoung, Lakshmi Mills, Greycells Edu, ASM Tech and Indosolar Ltd hit their fresh 52-week high, while Chitradurga Spin, Salguti Industries, Sadhana Nitro, Sharanam Infra and Sybly Ind touched their new 52-week low during the session.
