Automaker Maruti Suzuki India declared its results for the June quarter of FY26 on Thursday, reporting a marginal 0.9% year-on-year (YoY) increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 3,792 crore, up from Rs 3,760 crore in the year-ago period.
Meanwhile, the company’s revenue from operations rose 8% YoY to Rs 38,605 crore, compared to Rs 35,779 crore posted in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.
The company’s net profit declined 3% sequentially, down from Rs 3,911 crore in the quarter ended March 2025.
For the quarter ended Q1FY26, the company reported a 1.1% YoY increase in sales volume to 5,27,861 units, up from 5,21,868 units in Q1FY25. Net sales rose 8.1% YoY to Rs 36,624.70 crore, compared to Rs 33,875.30 crore in the same quarter last year.
However, operating EBIT declined 18.9% YoY to Rs 3,057.80 crore, down from Rs 3,771.30 crore in Q1FY25, indicating margin pressure despite higher sales.
