Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(up 2.21 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 0.83 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 0.42 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Macrotech Developers Ltd.(down 2.53 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(down 2.26 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(down 1.56 per cent), Sobha Ltd.(down 1.15 per cent) and Raymond Ltd.(down 0.86 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was down 0.8 per cent at 865.65 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 196.21 points at 24728.5, while the BSE Sensex was down 737.73 points at 81692.17.
