Kolkata: Spandana Sphoorty Financial has appointed Venkatesh Krishnan, a former HDFC Bank executive, as its managing director & chief executive officer. Krishnan will join the microfinance company on November 27 for a period of three years. A veteran of 34 years in financial services, he had headed the microfinance division at HDFC Bank earlier. Ashish Kumar Damani, who was officiating as the interim CEO in the absence of a regular head, will be back to his role as president & chief financial officer.
