The gross advances increased by 3.7% on a sequential basis while the total deposits grew 4.8% quarter-on-quarter.
Axis Bank’s CASA deposits increased 13.9% YoY to Rs 4.93 lakh crore, though sequential growth was relatively modest at 2.9%. Meanwhile, term deposits remained the key growth driver, climbing 15.8% YoY and 6% QoQ to Rs 7.68 lakh crore.
Average deposit balances also showed healthy traction. Total average deposits grew 12.3% YoY to Rs 11.97 lakh crore, led by a 14.4% rise in average term deposits, while average CASA balances increased 8.9% YoY.

The quarterly average for term deposits stood at Rs 7.49 lakh crore, up 14.4% YoY and 6.2% QoQ compared to Rs 6.55 lakh crore in Q3FY25 and Rs 7.06 lakh crore in Q2FY26.

Shares of Axis Bank today settled at Rs 1,286.50 on the NSE, gaining Rs 19.60 per share or 1.55% over the Friday closing price.
Axis Bank shares are market outperformers with 19% returns over a one-year period compared to 9% returns by Nifty in the same period. The stock is currently trading above its 50-day and 200-day simple moving averages of Rs 1,253 and Rs 1,171, respectively according to Trendlyne.
