NEW DELHI: BSE(Rs. 4008.49 crore), Waaree Energies(Rs. 2471.74 crore), GRSE(Rs. 2239.68 crore), Reliance Power(Rs. 2170.35 crore), Mazagon Dock Ship(Rs. 1489.20 crore), BEL(Rs. 1451.47 crore), Sun Pharma(Rs. 1391.60 crore), HAL(Rs. 1156.85 crore), Cochin Shipyard(Rs. 1060.59 crore) and Eternal(Rs. 1000.09 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 243.46 points up at 24853.15, while BSE Sensex rose 769.09 points to 81721.08.
In the Nifty index, Eternal Ltd.(up 3.73 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 3.25 per cent), Jio Financial Services Ltd.(up 2.63 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 2.48 per cent) and ITC Ltd.(up 2.40 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 2.05 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 0.57 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 0.02 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 0.07 per cent) and Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 0.09 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
