From corporate stability to uncertain start
Batra said she resigned from her well-paying job despite having no guaranteed income or roadmap ahead in content creation. She described the decision as emotionally difficult, adding that both she and those around her questioned whether leaving a stable career was the right choice.
In her Instagram post, she wrote, “The day I quit my ₹50 LPA job… I was terrified. Everyone around me thought I was making a huge mistake.”
Fear, doubt and starting from scratch
The creator said leaving her corporate role meant giving up financial security, structure and professional stability. She acknowledged facing intense internal doubt, along with external scepticism about content creation as a career.
“So I took the risk. I started again. From scratch. No guarantees. No fixed income. Just a phone, a dream, and a lot of belief,” she shared.
Batra added that the early phase of her journey involved uncertainty, slow progress and moments of questioning her decision.
Building a career through consistency
Despite challenges, she said she continued creating content, learning and experimenting consistently. Over time, she began to see results and gradually built a sustainable online career.
“Today I can proudly say, I made it as a content creator. Not because everything is perfect. But because I wake up excited about the life I’m building,” she said.
