Will the Congress and AAP jointly contest the assembly polls? In response, Jairam Ramesh
In light of the impending assembly elections in Delhi and Haryana, the Congress on Thursday ruled out forming an alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh stated, “I don’t think that INDIA [Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance] will be there for assembly polls in Haryana,” in an interview with news agency PTI. The AAP in Delhi has declared that INDIA janbandhan will not be present for the assembly elections.”
For what reason does this story matter?
The Congress and the AAP challenged the Lok Sabha decisions in Delhi and Haryana together under the INDIA coalition.
In Delhi, the AAP challenged four voting public and the Congress three, yet the coalition got no seats and the Bharatiya Janata Party cleared the public capital.
In Haryana, the Congress challenged nine seats, and the AAP one.
The Congress acquired five seats contrasted with 2019, while the AAP’s Sushil Gupta barely lost the Kurukshetra seat to the BJP’s Naveen Jindal.

Last month, Delhi Pastor and AAP pioneer Gopal Rai explained that the party’s partnership with the Congress was exclusively for the Lok Sabha races.
