Vodafone Idea reported a rise in its customer Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) as well. The ARPU (excluding M2M users) grew to Rs 180 in Q2FY26, compared to Rs 166 in Q2FY25. This marks an 8.7% year-on-year increase.
The company also posted a 2.4% year-on-year increase in revenue from operations. Revenue stood at Rs 11,194 crore in Q2FY26, up from Rs 10,932 crore in the same period last year.
Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortisation (EBITDA) for the quarter stood at Rs 4,685 crore, up from Rs 4,550 crore reported in Q2FY25. The EBITDA margin for the period was recorded at 41.9%, compared to 41.6% in the year-ago period, representing a 30 basis points increase.
Cash EBITDA (pre-IndAS 116) came in at Rs 2,246 crore in Q2FY26, down from Rs 2,324 crore in Q2FY25.
In terms of network and subscriber base, the company reported a 4G/5G subscriber base of 127.8 million, compared to 125.9 million in Q2FY25. The company stated that its 4G network now covers 84.4% of the population. Additionally, 4G data capacity grew by 38% and 4G data speeds increased by 17% versus March 2024.As part of its financial update, Vodafone Idea also reported that its debt from banks has reduced to Rs 15.3 billion as of September 30, 2025.Also read: Tata Motors CV arm listing date announced.
