US stocks opens higher after inflation data keeps rate cut bets firm – News Air Insight

Sept 11 – Wall Street’s main indexes opened slightly higher on Thursday after the latest inflation reading kept the U.S. central bank on track to deliver an interest rate cut later this month.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 86.2 points, or 0.19%, at the open to 45,577.09. The S&P 500 rose 22.4 points, or 0.34%, to 6,554.41, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 91.5 points, or 0.42%, to 21,977.515.
