Derek O’Brien was suspended by Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar on Thursday due to “ignoble misconduct.”
O’Brien, an All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) member, has called for a discussion over the security lapse that occurred in Parliament on Wednesday.
Along with other opposition leaders, he insisted that Union Home Minister Amit Shah respond to inquiries about the occurrence.
Dhankar demanded that O’Brien leave the House, calling his request a “breach of privilege.”

Neelam Azad was detained earlier during a protest by wrestlers.

During a protest in New Delhi by wrestlers, Azad was arrested in May along with the mother of wrestler Sakshi Malik. As reported by the Indian Express, she sat among the demonstrators and actively supported the farmer movement in 2020–21.
Her birthplace is Ghaso Khurd village located in Jind district, Haryana.

Police make five arrests in connection with the crime.
Five persons have been detained by the Delhi police in connection with this case.
Karnataka residents Sagar Sharma and Manoranhan D were detained for graffiti and smoke-spraying inside the Lok Sabha.
Two other people, Amol Shinde from Maharashtra and Neelam from Haryana, were detained outside the Transport Bhawan as they were spray-painting.
Later on Wednesday, a fifth person was taken into custody, while the sixth is still at large.

When granting passes, we must use caution: Minister of Defence
Prathap Simha, the Mysuru MP for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), reportedly gave Manoranjan two visitor permits so he could enter the House.
In order to obtain the passes, Manoranjan maintained continual communication with his personal assistant, Simha revealed to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla.
Rajnath Singh, the minister of defence, issued a warning at the same time, saying that they would need to exercise extra caution while granting the passes.
