On Saturday, the former prime minister Manmohan Singh’s funeral procession began at the Congress headquarters.
At 11:45 a.m., his final ceremonies will be held at the Nigambodh Ghat Crematorium.
Singh was the architect of India’s economic liberalization and a two-time prime minister. The Congress has requested that the government provide Singh with a memorial site.

Congress pioneers offer appreciation, Center consents to dedication
A few chiefs, including Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and KC Venugopal offered their appreciation at the Congress base camp.

Traffic warnings gave, public grieving announced
