During a recent rally in Mahua, his former constituency, Tej Pratap Yadav made it clear that he will not be controlled by anyone. Standing before the crowd, he declared:
“Whatever the public wants, I will do. I will contest the election from wherever the public demands. From which party….that will be seen later.”
When questioned about his political alignment and potential change of party, Pratap stayed focused on development. He said:
“I came to see the medical college in Mahua. We had promised a medical college, and now it’s ready. I fulfill whatever promise I make.”
This visit served not only as a political message but also as a reaffirmation of his commitment to public welfare and infrastructure.
Family Fallout: A Rift That Shook Bihar Politics
The tensions within the Yadav family became public when Lalu Prasad Yadav snapped all ties with Tej Pratap. The decision came after a controversial social media post where Pratap claimed to be in a long-term relationship with Anushka Yadav, which stirred both political and personal storms.
Though Pratap later deleted the post, stating that his Facebook account had been hacked, the damage was done. His personal life was already under scrutiny due to an ongoing bitter divorce with estranged wife Aishwarya Roy.
Following this series of events, Tej Pratap was expelled from the party for six years, with Lalu citing “irresponsible behavior” as the reason.
