NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green on Monday amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Kesar Terminals(14.82%), Netweb Technologies(14.81%), Panth Infinity(13.98%), Mid India Ind(13.55%), Abans Holdings(13.19%), R R Kabel(13.14%), Dhunseri Invst(12.69%), Vedavaag Sys(12.38%), Hemang Resources (12.20%) and Standard Cap(11.90%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 431.4 points up at 80933.39, while the 50-share Nifty index rose 147.25 points to 24493.95.
In the Nifty 50 index, 41 stocks traded in the green, while 9 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as SER Industries Ltd., Bio Green Paper, Soni Medicare, Desh Rakshak and B P Capital hit their fresh 52-week high, while Karda Const, Gensol Engg, Thakral Service, Indergiri Fin and Spectra Ind touched their new 52-week low in trade.
