These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Sainik Finance(14.52%), Kimia Biosciences(14.30%), Apollo Micro Systems(13.73%), Archies Ltd(12.31%), Vikas Multicorp(11.72%), Schneider(11.61%), Kiran Vyapar(11.52%), STC India(11.50%), Precision Camshaft(11.41%) and Thacker Co(11.35%).
The 30-share Sensex ended 239.31 points down at 81312.32, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 73.75 points down at 24752.45.
In the Nifty 50 index, 14 stocks ended in the green, while 36 stocks closed in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as Apollo Micro Systems, Amit Securities, ASM Tech, Intelligent Supply and GSK Pharma hit their fresh 52-week high, while Hindusthan Urban Inf, Shri Keshav Cem, Tantia Const, Orchid Pharma and Pulsar International touched their new 52-week low in today’s trade.
