NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red on Monday amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Panth Infinity(14.80%), Archidply Ind(14.30%), Informed Tech(11.44%), Jagsonpal Pharm(11.09%) and Manorama Ind(10.63%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 180.6 points down at 81282.49, while the 50-share Nifty index fell 37.6 points to 24799.4.
In the Nifty 50 index, 28 stocks traded in the green, while 22 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Teesta Agro Industries Ltd., Times Guaranty, Panth Infinity, Manorama Ind and G G Automotive Gears hit their fresh 52-week high, while Kkrrafton Developers, Binny Mills, Galaxy Cloud Kitchens, HCKK Ventures and 7NR Retail Ltd. touched their new 52-week low in trade.
