NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red on Friday amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Enviro Infra Enginee(13.41%), Sri Lakshmi Saraswathi Textiles(12.65%), Omnitex Ind(11.79%), Rajputana Investment(10.59%), Tierra Agrotech(10.23%) and Salona Cotspin(10.05%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 634.57 points down at 82555.71, while the 50-share Nifty index fell 180.25 points to 25175.0.
In the Nifty 50 index, 13 stocks traded in the green, while 37 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Omnitex Ind, Glenmark Pharma, Cupid Ltd, JP Power and Sumeet Ind hit their fresh 52-week high, while Gorani Ind, Ozone World, Omega Inter.Tech, Integrated Hitech Ltd. and Kansal Fibres touched their new 52-week low in trade.
