NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red on Tuesday amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Orient Bell(13.97%) and CCL Products(13.52%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 234.92 points down at 80561.92, while the 50-share Nifty index fell 83.46 points to 24377.7.
In the Nifty 50 index, 16 stocks traded in the green, while 34 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as SER Industries Ltd., Atharv Enterprises, Naysaa Securities, Bio Green Paper and Dugar Housing Dev. hit their fresh 52-week high, while G V Films, Goyal Associate, Network People Servi, RS Software and Gensol Engg touched their new 52-week low in trade.
