The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 455.37 points up at 82176.45, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 148.0 points up at 25001.15.
In the Nifty50 index, 38 stocks closed in the green, while 12 stocks ended in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as Khaitan(India), Frontier Spring, Amit Securities, Camlin Fine Sc and TAAL Enterprises hit their fresh 52-week high, while Career Point, BDH Industries, Nutricircle, SKIL Infrastructure and CMI Ltd touched their new 52-week low in today’s trade.
