NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Suvidhaa Infoserve(up 17.91%), Ind Swift Ltd(up 16.32%) and Rajputana Investment(up 16.01%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.
The 30-share index, BSE was trading 121.38 points up at 82374.84, while the 50-share index, NSE was 44.8 points up at 25127.1.
In the Nifty50 index, 34 stocks traded in the green, while 16 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Amal Ltd, Kalpa Commercial Ltd., Soma Textiles, Arihant Tourne and Rallis India hit their fresh 52-week high, while Tejas Networks, LCC Infotech, Ozone World, Vantage Knowledge and Enbee Trade Fin touched their new 52-week low during the session.
