NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 182.34 points up at 81330.56 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Raymond(down 64.35 per cent), Kaveri Seed Co.(down 8.86 per cent), GCM Capital Adv.(down 8.48 per cent), Dalmia Industrial Development(down 8.28 per cent) and Helpage Finlease(down 7.87 per cent) stood among the top losers in today’s trade.
In the Nifty pack, 38 stocks closed in the green, while 12 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 88.56 points up at 24666.9.
On the BSE, Raymond, Trinity League, Jamshri Realty, Pradhin Ltd. and K&R Rail Engineering hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Kanpur Plastip, Stampede Cap(DVR), Fusion Micro Finance(PP), Alfred Herbert and Authum Investment touched their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade.
