NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 30.19 points up at 80776.97 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Dalmia Industrial Development(down 13.08 per cent), 52 Weeks Entertainment(down 11.25 per cent), SSPDL Ltd(down 10.89 per cent), Flora Corporation(down 10.00 per cent) and Comfort Commo(down 9.98 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 20 stocks traded in the green, while 30 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 10.0 points down at 24404.4.
On the BSE, Dalmia Industrial Development, BNR Udyog, Gensol Engg, VMS Industries and K&R Rail Engineering hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Amit Securities, Stampede Cap(DVR), Shriram Pistons, KPR Mill and Bodhtree Consult touched their fresh 52-week highs.
