NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 200.15 points down at 82330.59 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Sai Swami Metals and(down 19.70 per cent), ETT Ltd(down 12.71 per cent), Ddev Plastiks Ind(down 11.67 per cent), Kaka Industries(down 11.10 per cent) and Raghuvansh Agrofarm(down 10.49 per cent) stood among the top losers in today’s trade.
In the Nifty pack, 25 stocks closed in the green, while 25 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 42.3 points down at 25019.8.
On the BSE, Dalmia Industrial Development, Jamshri Realty, Sybly Ind, Ozone World and Rajeswari Infra hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Paras Defence, Kamadgiri Fash, Stampede Cap(DVR), Mazagon Dock Ship and Kranti Industries touched their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade.
