Markets extended their decline on Friday, losing over half a percent in line with weak global cues. From a technical perspective, analysts say the decline has disrupted the short-term up move in the Nifty, with the index now retesting its medium-term support zone near the 100 DEMA around the 25,600 level.

In today’s trade, shares of TCS, HCL Tech, DMart, ICICI Lombard, RIL, Lemon Tree Hotels among others will be in focus due to various news developments and third quarter results.

Shares of TCS, HCL Tech and Anand Rathi Wealth will be in focus in today’s trade as the companies will announce their third quarter results later during the day.DMart
Avenue Supermarts, the parent company of the retail chain DMart, reported its third quarter results for the financial year 2026, posting an 18.3% year-on-year (YoY) growth in its consolidated profit after tax (PAT) at Rs 855.92 crore, up from Rs 723.72 crore in the same period last year. Meanwhile, the revenue from operations witnessed a surge of 13.3% YoY.


ICICI Lombard
ICICI Lombard General Insurance disclosed a corporate governance lapse that a draft unaudited financial information for the December quarter was inadvertently shared on a senior employee’s personal WhatsApp status, prompting the insurer to alert stock exchanges as a precautionary measure.

Adani Enterprises
Adani Group has committed an investment of Rs 1.5 lakh crores in the Kutch region over the next five years, affirming India’s role as one of the world’s most attractive destinations for investment and manufacturing, Karan Adani, MD of Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd, announced on Sunday.

NTPC
NTPC will set up its coal-to-synthetic natural gas facility in Chhattisgarh at an investment of around Rs 10,000 crore, a senior company official said. The company is looking for technology tie-ups for various processes, like coal beneficiation and gasification, to produce synthetic natural gas (SNG), the official said.

RIL
Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries Ltd shared five firm commitments at the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference for Kutch and Saurashtra region on Sunday, laying out the conglomerate’s ambitions towards India’s clean energy push and overall development. He pledged an investment of Rs 7 lakh crore for Gujarat in the next five years, doubling from the previous investment of Rs 3.5 lakh crores since 2021.

IREDA
State-owned IREDA posted a 37% year-on-year (YoY) rise in standalone net profit to Rs 585 crore in the December quarter, boosted by revenues. It had clocked a net profit of Rs 425 crore in the October-December period of the preceding financial year, the company said in an exchange filing. The company’s revenue from operations surged 38% to Rs 2,140 crore, from Rs 1,699 crore in the same period a year ago.
