Markets remained under pressure on Thursday and extended their recent decline amid weak global cues and persistent geopolitical tensions. Going ahead, analysts say a decisive break below this band could trigger the next leg of decline towards the 23,000-23,200 zone.

In today’s trade, shares of Tata Steel, Kaynes Tech, GAIL, Somany Ceramics, TVS Motor among others will be in focus due to various news developments.

Kaynes Technologies
BofA Securities bought 1.16 lakh shares in Kaynes Technologies on Thursday via a block deal worth Rs 42 crore. The sellers in the deal were Kadensa Master Fund and Bluepearl Map I LP. The shares were bought at a price of Rs 3,614.4 apiece, a 3% discount over Wednesday’s closing price of Rs 3,724.50.GAIL
A senior official at GAIL Gas Ltd on Thursday said there was no shortage of piped natural gas (PNG) supply in Bengaluru and hotels, eateries and industries connected to the PNG network will continue to receive uninterrupted gas.
