Markets traded with a subdued bias on Monday, ending nearly half a percent lower. The muted performance was driven by risk aversion amid global uncertainties and continued FII selling, which overshadowed domestic resilience.

“With the monthly expiry scheduled for Tuesday, volatility is likely to remain elevated. We expect the Nifty to hover within the 25,800–26,100 range. Meanwhile, participants should maintain a stock-specific approach and use dips or periods of consolidation to gradually accumulate quality names,” said Ajit Mishra – SVP, Research, Religare Broking.

Dr Reddy’s
Dr Reddy’s Laboratories said partnerships between policymakers and industry are vital to build a future-ready healthcare system that serves millions. Satish Reddy, the chairman of the Hyderabad-based drug major, joined industry leaders at the sixth Pre-Budget Consultation chaired by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in the national capital.

GAIL India

GAIL (India) has issued a swap tender, offering two US-loaded liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargoes in exchange for two cargo deliveries to India, according to Reuters. GAIL, India’s largest gas distributor, is offering the cargoes for loading on a free-on-board (FOB) basis on January 27 at Sabine Pass, Louisiana, and on March 10 at Cove Point, Maryland.

Hudco
Hudco has signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA) to collaborate for developing programmes of mutual interest on themes related to urban infrastructure and development including infrastructure investment and Hudco’s Urban Invest Window (UiWIN).

HUL
Kwality Wall’s (India) announced several appointments to its board of directors ahead of its demerger from Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL). The company has announced seven appointments, including one non-executive director, two executive directors and four independent directors.

ACME Solar
ACME Solar Holdings said it has secured the winning bid for a 130 MW capacity in a tender floated by Railways (REMCL) for round-the-clock renewable energy. The company’s winning bid was Rs 4.35 per unit, according to a company statement.

Ceigall India
The company has received letter of intent (LoI) from REC Power Development and Consultancy for establishment of 400/220 kV Velgaon Substation (GIS) through tariff based competitive bidding (TBCB) process.
