The NSE Nifty50 index ended 114.46 points up at 24461.15, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 294.85 points at 80796.84.
Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 7.04%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 6.32%), Trent Ltd.(up 4.33%), Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 4.08%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 3.49%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 3.26%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 3.19%), ITC Ltd.(up 1.56%), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.54%) and Tata Motors Ltd.(up 1.47%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
