NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 20.08 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 10.68 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 4.53 crore), GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 2.46 crore), Easy Trip Planners(number of shares traded: 2.31 crore), Reliance Power(number of shares traded: 2.01 crore), Tata Steel(number of shares traded: 1.69 crore), Godha Cabcon & Insul(number of shares traded: 1.68 crore), IRFC(number of shares traded: 1.43 crore) and Shree Ren Sug(number of shares traded: 1.28 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:56AM in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 45.9 points up at 24712.8, while BSE Sensex was up 67.83 points at 81398.39 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 4.11 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 3.55 per cent), Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 2.90 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 2.28 per cent) and Tata Motors Ltd.(up 2.02 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.12 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 1.11 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 0.82 per cent), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.69 per cent) and Cipla Ltd.(down 0.66 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
