NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 11.20 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 6.01 crore), Niva Bupa Health Insurance Company Ltd.(number of shares traded: 3.90 crore), PNB(number of shares traded: 2.77 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 2.33 crore), Welspun India(number of shares traded: 2.29 crore), IDFC First Bank(number of shares traded: 2.07 crore), GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 1.70 crore), Motherson Sumi(number of shares traded: 1.67 crore) and Reliance Power(number of shares traded: 1.27 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:45AM in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 13.36 points down at 24401.05, while BSE Sensex was up 19.23 points at 80766.01 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Tata Motors Ltd.(up 2.31 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 1.70 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 1.66 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(up 1.32 per cent) and Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 1.10 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Eternal Ltd.(down 2.60 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 2.45 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 1.79 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(down 1.64 per cent) and ITC Ltd.(down 1.45 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
