NEW DELHI: ITC(number of shares traded: 40.96 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 33.81 crore), IFCI(number of shares traded: 11.26 crore), Sagility India Ltd.(number of shares traded: 10.71 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 7.03 crore), GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 6.36 crore), Karda Const(number of shares traded: 6.14 crore), Reliance Power(number of shares traded: 5.87 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 3.65 crore) and Infibeam Avenues(number of shares traded: 2.91 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:21AM in Wednesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 46.66 points down at 24779.55, while BSE Sensex was down 165.9 points at 81385.73 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Bharat Electronics Ltd.(up 1.47 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 0.95 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 0.87 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 0.80 per cent) and Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 0.76 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While ITC Ltd.(down 3.04 per cent), Nestle India Ltd.(down 1.72 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 1.35 per cent), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 1.26 per cent) and Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 1.18 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
