NEW DELHI: YES Bank(number of shares traded: 31.42 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 14.23 crore), Reliance Power(number of shares traded: 1.97 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 1.61 crore), Tata Steel(number of shares traded: 1.55 crore), Easy Trip Planners(number of shares traded: 1.36 crore), IDFC First Bank(number of shares traded: 1.32 crore), GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 1.16 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 1.06 crore) and Indian Oil Corp.(number of shares traded: 0.98 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:21AM in Tuesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 83.71 points down at 24377.45, while BSE Sensex was down 250.55 points at 80546.29 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 2.03 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.87 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 1.86 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 1.83 per cent) and Nestle India Ltd.(up 1.57 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 2.51 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 2.46 per cent), Jio Financial Services Ltd.(down 2.40 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 2.19 per cent) and Eternal Ltd.(down 2.05 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
