NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 36.85 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 28.54 crore), Swiggy Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 9.93 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 7.24 crore), Canara Bank(numbers of share traded: 5.95 crore), BEL(numbers of share traded: 5.80 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 5.56 crore), Tata Steel(numbers of share traded: 5.44 crore), Karda Const(numbers of share traded: 5.20 crore) and Godha Cabcon & Insul(numbers of share traded: 4.95 crore) emerged top gainers in Tuesday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 346.36 points down at 24578.35, while BSE Sensex ended down 1281.68 points at 81148.22.
On the other hand, Infosys Ltd.(down 3.59 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 3.43 per cent), Eternal Ltd.(down 3.28 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 3.04 per cent) and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 2.92 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
