A seasoned SBI veteran with over three decades of experience, she brings a strong record of driving transformation, innovation and inclusive growth across the banking ecosystem.
Beginning her journey as a probationary officer in 1994, she has led diverse and high-impact roles across the organisation and is known for building inclusive, high-performing teams and delivering customer-first transformation across retail banking, wealth and digital.
At the SBI Corporate Centre, she served as General Manager – Redesign Studio. Most recently, as Chief General Manager of SBI’s Thiruvananthapuram Circle, she oversaw over 1,200 branches, driving strong growth in retail credit, deposits and market share.
Commenting on her new role, Bhuvaneshwari called her appointment to lead SBICAP, a pivotal juncture.
