PM Modi will launch projects worth Rs. 15,000 crore on Saturday in Ayodhya.
On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Ayodhya, where he will officially launch many projects valued at over Rs. 15,000 crore.
Among his offerings to the holy city are a roadway, an updated train station, and a new international airport.
Prior to the Pran Pratishtha (consecration) ceremony at Ram Mandir on January 22, Ayodhya underwent a facelift.
Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, visited Ayodhya on Friday to evaluate the preparations made for the PM’s visit.

Why is this story important?
Voters are anticipated to be swayed by PM Modi’s visit to Ayodhya and the opening of the Ram Mandir, with less than four months till the Lok Sabha elections.
The development of Ayodhya and the Ram Mandir are at the top of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) list of campaign promises.
Furthermore, the new projects’ names seem to support the party’s declared Hindu nationalism and may aid in its election-winning, particularly in the Hindi belt.
The BJP “double engine” administration in Uttar Pradesh may potentially be challenged by the new projects.

Trains from Amrit Bharat and Ayodhya Dham Junction
The recently renovated and renamed Ayodhya Dham Junction Railway Station, which cost over Rs. 240 crore to build, will be officially opened by PM Modi.
The Indian Green Building Council has approved this state-of-the-art station, which is filled with religious symbols like Dhanush and Mukut, as a green station building (IGBC).
To further improve the country’s rail system, he will also officially off six new Vande Bharat Express trains and two Amrit Bharat trains.
Amrit Bharat trains are equipped with “push-pull” technology and are the sleeper variant of Vande Bharat.

An international airport is built in Ayodhya.
During his visit to Ayodhya, the prime minister will also dedicate three railway projects valued at Rs. 2,300 crore.
These projects include the Malhaur-Daliganj railway section doubling and electrification project, the Jaunpur-Ayodhya-Barabanki doubling project parts, and the Rooma Chakeri-Chanderi third line project.
Additionally, PM Modi will take part in a public programme devoted to development projects worth over Rs. 15,700 crore in Uttar Pradesh and inaugurate the recently constructed Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport.

Initiatives for beautification and infrastructure
PM Modi will also lay the groundwork for a number of infrastructure projects during his visit, including ones that deal with the expansion and enhancement of tourism attractions from Naya Ghat to Laxman Ghat.
Among these projects are the alterations to the current Ayodhya bypass and the Lucknow-Ayodhya portion of National Highway-28 (new NH-27).
Plans also call for the construction of sewage treatment facilities in Pankha and Jajmau, Kanpur, as well as the extension of the Gosain Ki Bazar Bypass-Varanasi (NH-233).
