Investors often pay close attention to where major institutional players, particularly mutual funds (MFs), are allocating their capital, as these investors typically commit funds only after thorough research and due diligence. When the companies they support also deliver robust profit growth, it becomes an added advantage for retail investors. In the September quarter, around 51 companies reported year-on-year profit growth of 25%, and notably, mutual funds increased their holdings in these companies compared to the previous quarter. Many of these stocks have also rewarded investors with strong price returns in CY25, reflecting both solid fundamentals and market confidence.
