Modi attacks Congress for rejecting the Waqf Act, saying, "Votebank ka virus." The Congress party has been under fire from Prime Minister Narendra Modi for rejecting the Waqf (Amendment) Act, claiming that they are doing so in order to appease Muslim fanatics.
He questioned why they are reluctant to offer half of their election tickets to Muslim candidates or to name a Muslim president.
He claimed that the party was spreading the “votebank ka virus,” and that this updated Waqf law would put an end to the poor’s looting.
