Kennedy Trailer: Rahul Bhat Goes on a Deadly Killing Spree in Anurag Kashyap’s Film – News Air Insight

The much-awaited trailer of Kennedy, starring Rahul Bhat as Kennedy, has finally been unveiled.  The Anurag Kashyap directorial also features Sunny Leone in a pivotal role, and the film marks a significant homecoming after earning widespread acclaim across global film festivals such as Cannes, Mami, and Mitti. Having travelled the world and collected accolades, Kennedy is now ready to return to Indian audiences.
The trailer offers a gripping glimpse into Kashyap’s unmistakable noir universe – dark, moody and razor-sharp. It opens with Rahul Bhat’s character revealing in a voice-over that he has killed multiple people over the years. The scene then opens with montages of him killing several people. He plays an insomniac ex-cop, presumed dead, who continues to work for a corrupt system while seeking redemption.

Rahul commands the screen with an intense, brooding performance as Kennedy. His portrayal is layered, restrained, and deeply unsettling. Adding to the intrigue is Sunny Leone, whose presence brings a striking charm and quiet strength to the narrative. Together, the trio promise a cinematic experience that is raw, fearless, and unapologetically Kashyap. With the trailer setting the tone, Kennedy’s homecoming feels timely and well-earned.

After its Cannes premiere, the film was screened at the Sydney International Film Festival (Australia), Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (South Korea), Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival (Switzerland), MOTELX – Lisbon International Horror Film Festival, Indie Meme Film Festival (Austin, Texas), Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (Australia), London Indian Film Festival (UK), Fantastic Fest (USA), Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival, and the Kolkata International Film Festival, among others.

Kennedy also stars Mohit Takalkar, Abhilash Thapliyal, Megha Burman, and Karishma Modi. It will be released on Zee5 on February 20.
