Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 3.74 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.74 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(down 1.61 per cent), Sobha Ltd.(down 1.04 per cent) and Oberoi Realty Ltd.(down 0.87 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was down 1.01 per cent at 972.4 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 8.05 points at 25514.45, while the BSE Sensex was down 53.34 points at 83659.17.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 28 were trading in the green, while 22 were in the red. Shares of JP Power, Vodafone Idea, PC Jeweller, RattanIndia Power and Alok Industries were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Synergy Green Ind, Prostarm Info System, Syrma SGS Technology, Robust Hotels and Sumeet Ind hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Nectar Lifesc, Dreamfolks Services, Future Enterprises (DVR), Take Solutions and Sadhana Nitro hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
