Shares of Raymond Ltd.(up 13.63 per cent), Anant Raj Ltd.(up 2.25 per cent), Sobha Ltd.(up 0.74 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 0.05 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Macrotech Developers Ltd.(down 2.68 per cent), DLF Ltd.(down 0.95 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(down 0.82 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(down 0.69 per cent) and Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 0.57 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.74 per cent down at 986.55.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 120.75 points at 25517.05, while the BSE Sensex stood down 452.44 points at 83606.46.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 20 ended in the green, while 30 closed in the red. Shares of Vodafone Idea, RattanIndia Power, Suzlon Energy, JP Power and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE. Shares of Euro India Fresh, Sanofi Consumer Heal, Force Motors, Indef Manufacturing and Banco Products hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Rajoo Engineers, SKIL Infrastructure, Sadhana Nitro, CMI Ltd and Varanium Cloud hit their fresh 52-week lows.
