Anant Raj Ltd.(up 3.3 per cent), Sobha Ltd.(up 2.63 per cent) and DLF Ltd.(up 0.43 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Macrotech Developers Ltd.(down 1.65 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 1.62 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(down 1.44 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 1.0 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 0.96 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was down 0.64 per cent at 949.55 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 60.45 points at 24773.15, while the BSE Sensex was down 194.87 points at 81438.15.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 16 were trading in the green, while 34 were in the red. Shares of Suzlon Energy, Vodafone Idea, Reliance Power, MMTC and Eternal were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Lumax Auto Tech, Shaily Engg Plastics, BSE, Venus Remedies and INEOS Styrolution hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Career Point, Navkar Builders, California Soft(PP), Borana Weaves and Orchid Pharma hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
