Shares of Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 3.42 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(up 1.66 per cent), Raymond Ltd.(up 1.6 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 1.24 per cent) and Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 1.18 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Godrej Properties Ltd.(down 1.34 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(down 0.59 per cent) and Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(down 0.18 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.66 per cent up at 887.35.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 114.46 points at 24461.15, while the BSE Sensex stood up 294.85 points at 80796.84.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 38 ended in the green, while 12 closed in the red. Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Indian Oil Corp., Vishal Mega Mart and Swiggy were among the most traded shares on the NSE. Shares of Godfrey Philips, Reliance Naval & Engg, Rajvir Ind, Synergy Green Ind and Navin Fluorine hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Keerti Knowledge, GI Engineering, AGS Transact Tech, Globe Textiles(India)and Gensol Engg hit their fresh 52-week lows.
