Indices: Stock market update: Nifty Pharma index falls 0.01% in an upbeat market – News Air Insight

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma index traded negative around 11:00AM(IST)on Monday in an upbeat market.

Mankind Pharma Ltd.(up 3.88 per cent), Granules India Ltd.(up 3.11 per cent), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(up 3.02 per cent), Natco Pharma Ltd.(up 2.85 per cent) and Aurobindo Pharma Ltd.(up 2.8 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 3.17 per cent), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.09 per cent), Lupin Ltd.(down 1.01 per cent), Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(down 0.96 per cent) and Ipca Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.5 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Pharma index was down 0.01 per cent at 21069.65 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 664.85 points at 24672.85, while the BSE Sensex was up 2132.67 points at 81587.14.


Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 48 were trading in the green, while 2 were in the red. Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, Reliance Power, Suzlon Energy and HFCL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Stampede Cap(DVR), Bharat Seats, Force Motors, Manorama Ind and India Shelter Finance Corp hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while SKIL Infrastructure, Seya Industries, Gensol Engg, Career Point and Eros Media hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
