Wipro Ltd.(up 1.09 per cent), Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd.(up 1.08 per cent), Coforge Ltd.(up 0.95 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(up 0.92 per cent) and Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 0.74 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 0.11 per cent) and Persistent Systems Ltd.(down 0.08 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty IT index was up 0.55 per cent at 39093.4 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 91.3 points at 25544.7, while the BSE Sensex was up 317.83 points at 83727.52.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 35 were trading in the green, while 15 were in the red. Shares of Vodafone Idea, RattanIndia Power, FSN E-Comm(Nykaa), Ola Electric Mobilit and JP Power were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of TN Telecom, Aster DM Health, NACL Industries, Reliance Naval & Engg and Khaitan Chem hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Stampede Cap(DVR), Globe Civil Projects, R K Swamy, Palred Technologies and Raymond Realty hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
