“The Idea of a Complete India Can’t Be Imagined Through Foreign Languages”: Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah recently emphasized the crucial role of Indian languages in truly understanding the essence of India—its culture, history, and religious identity. Speaking passionately, he pointed out that foreign languages, especially when not deeply rooted in Indian thought, fall short in capturing the spirit of Bharat.

“The idea of a complete India cannot be imagined through half-baked foreign languages,” Shah stated.
“I am fully aware of how difficult this battle is, but I am also fully confident that Indian society will win it.”

Shah’s powerful words come at a time when India is undergoing a significant transformation under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, particularly with the vision of “Amrit Kaal”—the golden period leading up to 2047, marking 100 years of Indian independence.

Modi’s Panch Pran: A Blueprint for 2047

Amit Shah highlighted the Panch Pran (Five Pledges) set by Prime Minister Modi, calling them the guiding force for India’s development journey.

These five pledges are:

  1. Achieving a Developed India

  2. Removing All Traces of Slavery

  3. Taking Pride in Our Heritage

  4. Strengthening Unity and Solidarity

  5. Instilling the Spirit of Duty in Every Citizen

“Modi Ji has laid the foundation of the Panch Pran for Amrit Kaal. These pledges have become the resolve of 130 crore Indians,” Shah affirmed.

Languages at the Heart of Nation-Building

Shah stressed that India’s linguistic richness will play a key role in fulfilling the Panch Pran by 2047. He urged every Indian to take pride in speaking and promoting native languages, as they carry the soul of India’s civilization.

“That is why by 2047, our languages will play a major role in this journey,” he said.

Conclusion

The message is clear: To build a truly developed, self-respecting, and united India, embracing our own languages and heritage is non-negotiable. It is not just a cultural choice, but a national responsibility. With the vision of Panch Pran and the power of Bharatiya Bhasha (Indian languages), the path to 2047 is one of pride, purpose, and profound transformation.
