
A few hours after Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman unveiled her seventh straight budget, the bloc’s top leaders convened at Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s home to deliberate the opposition’s approach on Tuesday.
Sharad Pawar, the leader of the Nationalist Congress Party (SP), and Congress MPs Rahul Gandhi and KC Venugopal were present at the meeting.
Resistance claims prejudice toward certain states
After the gathering, Venugopal said, “The idea of a financial plan has proactively been obliterated by…Union Spending plan. They have totally victimized a large portion of the states.”
A few resistance pioneers condemned the financial plan for leaning toward Bihar and Andhra Pradesh — states represented by the Janata Dal (Joined together) and the Telugu Desam Party separately — key partners of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Public Vote based Union government.
Prominently, ₹15,000 crore was allotted for Andhra’s new capital Amaravati’s turn of events and ₹26,000 crore to Bihar for framework projects.

Head of Resistance in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi considered it a “Kursi Bachao” Financial plan.

Resistance to blacklist NITI Aayog meeting
Notwithstanding the parliamentary dissent, Congress boss clergymen will blacklist the NITI Aayog meeting booked for July 27.

Sitharaman presents Modi 3.0’s most memorable financial plan
On Tuesday, Sitharaman introduced the 2024-25 Financial plan — the first of Head of the state Narendra Modi’s third term.
Sitharaman featured a few central issues in the spending plan, including prizes for key NDA partners, charge help for new citizens, and an emphasis on work creation for youth.
After the FM’s discourse, PM Modi said in a X post that the “#BudgetForViksitBharat” guarantees comprehensive development for every cultural fragment, guiding India towards advancement.
